ABOUT YOUR HOST

Alison Lee, RN

Alison Lee, RN, BSN, MSA, ACSM-CPT teaches clients how to cope after the death of a parent by helping them create personalized resilience strategies that use evidence based techniques.

She lost her father to colon cancer when she was 9 months old.
At 37, Alison's mother died in her arms while her husband was on a military deployment. As an only child with two young children, she had to figure out ways to get things done, while coping alone.

Grateful for the vast knowledge and experience she's gained from working in the fitness industry since 1992, being a nurse since 1998 and a pioneer in the self-health movement since 2007 has helped her cope.

As a wellness lifestyle enthusiast and educator, she is leading the way as a published author in peer-reviewed medical journals and by presenting workshops to medical executives, physicians, nurses, interns, teachers, elite athletes, seniors and teens. Her passion is using psychology, nutrition and movement as tools to maximize human potential despite setbacks.
